    About 20 family members and friends of the young man who lost his life in the collision over the weekend gathered at the site today to perform a memorial ceremony.

    The victim’s father said this is something family and friends just felt was right.

    The family asked permission from the City, RCMP and the Williams Lake Fire Department, who offered to attend with fire suppression equipment to ensure everyone’s safety, for the fire they chose to burn.
