Facebook works hard as a 'virtual' searcher in case of missing boy
| Letters - Letter to the Editor |
I don't know Eddie William, nor do I live in Williams Lake (anymore), but I must say that because of your posts, I saw his photo all over my Facebook page instantly, and began praying that someone would find him.
I have a son myself, and couldn't imagine what it would be like if one day he just didn't come home. All that to be said, as I read through the posts on the '' Facebook page earlier today, and saw how apparently-random strangers were out looking for him; checking in their sheds, and their yards ... it made me cry.
I am so happy to hear that he has been found, and I hope he is alright.
I wanted to say that everything (Got News Network Inc.) posts, gets out there, and works. So, if you're ever unsure if your small act of posting a photo, sharing local news, or simply advertising is helping the city of Williams Lake -- just know that it will always reach me.
Keep up the amazing work.
