Rain, rain, go away

CRD Updates from BC Street at the Olympics

By  Danielle Johnson

It may be raining but that didn’t cool off the Olympic spirit today on BC Street.  The Canada vs. Germany Men’s Ice Hockey game brought cheering crowds to the Richmond O Zone despite the weather.

The BC Street team provided wet spectators with a place to warm up in front of our pellet stove while they sampled some beef jerky and Birch Syrup toffee from CRD Director John Massier.

Many continued to come in and sign our cedar centerpiece.  A father who was missing his son at home in the Yukon called his little guy while he signed his name on the log.

From the BC Street staff,

Taylor McGinnis
Alice Johnston
Danielle Johnson
Kimberly Morrison
