At last night's closed meeting of the Board, the Board of Education accepted, with regret, the resignation of Secretary Treasurer Bonnie Roller effective June 30, 2013.

Ms. Roller has been an employee of the School District No. 27 (Cariboo-Chilcotin) for 32 years, with the last six years in the role of secretary treasurer.

"I have accepted the secretary treasurer position in School District No. 67 (Okanagan Skaha) in Penticton. I have lived in the Cariboo-Chilcotin all my life and my whole working life has been with SD27. It is going to be very difficult to leave here," says Bonnie.

Board Chair Will VanOsch said, "Bonnie has been with this district for a long time and is integral in the workings at the Board level. Her professional expertise and knowledge of the District will be sorely missed." The Board will begin its search for a secretary treasurer over the next few weeks.

"The Board of Education wishes Bonnie great success in her new position," stated   Contact: William VanOsch, Chair, Board of Education.
