071212_SchaferAt 9:40pm on July 11, the Williams Lake RCMP received a complaint that Larry Schafer, 73 years old, was missing from his residence on Chimney Lake Road.

Mr. Schafer had left earlier in the day on his ATV and trailer to get some gravel from a nearby area.

Police immediately attended to the area and made their best efforts to search the rural area with what little daylight was left.

 The RCMP along with Central Cariboo Search and Rescue will be continuing the search today.

Mr. Schafer is described as Caucasian, 5'6", 205 lbs, wearing jeans, work boots, and a short red plaid shirt. He has gray hair and is balding.

If anyone has any information, they are asked to immediately phone the Williams Lake RCMP at (250) 392-6211 or 911.
