061412_yellow_pagesWilliams Lake and area residents are warned of a scam involving a group claiming to be 'Factoring International AG' operating out of Switzerland, sending letters or possibly faxes to individuals or businesses on Yellow Page British Columbia letterhead. 

The correspondence will state that you have an outstanding debt and ask for payment by sending a cheque in the mail when no such debt exists.
