News

school_dist_27Graduation ceremonies will occur for the graduating class of 2011/2012, according to Diane Wright, Superintendent of Schools.

However, as a result of the British Columbia Teachers’ Federation (BCTF) Action Plan, teachers will not participate in graduation ceremonies outside of instructional time. School District No. 27 and secondary school principals are working together and adjusting plans for the ceremonies.

Teachers will plan and provide assistance during instructional hours. "To ensure the class of 2011/2012 experience their graduation ceremonies we are fortunate that many volunteers have offered to help," states Wright.

The District will send an update confirming the graduation ceremony plans for each school later this week.
