New construction at Clancy's site in Lac La Hache
| News |
Construction continues at the former Clancy’s site in Lac La Hache as a new building takes shape. Lone Butte Enterprises has finished the foundation and the walls are on their way up.
Clancy’s Restaurant burned to the ground on April 17, 2011. It was a true landmark in the Cariboo, and there have been many inquiries about what would happen to the site.
Serge from Lone Butte Enterprises stated this morning that the new facility, still with the previous owner, was originally going to be open on May long weekend. “The opening has been delayed due to cold weather, but now we’re back on track,” he said.
“The new facility will feature an 89-seat restaurant, a convenience store and an approximately 40-seat pub.”
