Williams Lake RCMP briefs to February 13, 2012

The Williams Lake RCMP provide a weekly report to local media outlining complaints and calls for service from the previous week.
February 9
Missing SnowmobilerRCMP were advised that two males tried to snowmobile into Trio Lake to go ice fishing. Shortly into the narrow trail the snowmobile got stuck. One male stayed with the snowmobile and the other continued down the trail to find a location to turn around, this male did not return. The Likely First Responders attended and were able to locate the male unharmed.
February 10
Breach
At 5:27am police received a call from a female about a man-down on Highway 97 South,just next to White Road. Police attended and located a male on the side of the road, and officers determined that he was non-responsive. EHS attended and took the male to the hospital. The investigation revealed the male had consumed alcohol while on conditions not to, beased on a file originating out of Bella Coola. Charges are being recommended for the breach.
February 11Harass/Obscene Call
A female reported that a male had been calling her non stop and said he would take lethal action against her. Caller was satisfied with officers calling the suspect to tell him to stop calling her.
Road Check
RCMP conducted a road check on Westcoast Road at the Wildwood Refuse site. Ten vehicles were checked, resulting in two three-day suspensions, one no insurance ticket, two open liquor charges, one drive while prohibited charge and one no seat belt charge.
Breach of ProbationRCMP were advised of a male who was at a local drinking establishment reportedly trying to buy drugs and start fights. Officers attended and determined the male was on strict no-consume alcohol conditions. He was arrested for breaching his probation.
February 12
Break And Enter - South Lakeside Drive area
A female called the RCMP to report that someone had broken into her residence on South Lakeside Drive sometime between 12:00pm and 6:45pm. Entry was gained through a bedroom window, the suspect (s) stole ten pairs of size 7 women's jeans. No suspects have surfaced, this file is still under investigation.
Male With Handgun
At 9:45pm a female reported seeing a male with a silver handgun at the intersection of Mackenzie Avenue and Highway 20. Officers later located a male with a pellet gun in his hand. The male was warned about the possible dangers of carrying a pellet gun while walking on a street. No charges were issued.
