Former Williams Lake Blue Fin swimmer, Kimberley Bryan made good on a lifetime goal last night at Canada West Swim Championships at UBC. Swimming for the University of Victoria, Kim ranked 17th going into her first swim of the competition (50m Backstroke) finaled in 9th place with a best time of 30.83. This qualifies her for CIS Nationals in February.

Her second swim of the day was to anchor UVic's 800m Freestyle Relay team to fourth place overall. Competition continues all weekend with live streaming of the finals at www.swimbc.ca
