Laughing, smiling faces walked the streets of Williams Lake, many, wearing bright pink t-shirts to symbolize a strong message; it’s time to stop racism.
The Walk For Harmony hosted by the CMHA strolled into its eighth year. Multiculturalism program manager Bettina Schoen says the walk in Williams Lake began after a series of racism incidents some years ago.

'Crimes of the Heart' is a trip back in time

Prepare to take a trip back in time -- all the way to the 1970’s. From top to toe, the Williams lake Studio theatre has been steeped in the era of sea foam rotary phones and vibrant kitchen colours.
Set in Mississippi, 'Crimes of the Heart' tells the story of a group of sisters whose lives are turned upside down.
First-time director Colleen Crossley says this production is a perfect balance of drama and humour, just like real life.
