Human interest

On Smithers Mayor Taylor Bachrach's Twitter page today, he says a challenge has been accepted by the Mayor of Williams Lake to wear the opposing team's jersey to a Council meeting, depending on whether the Williams Lake Stampeders or the Smithers Steelheads are victorious in the SMP Cup series of the Central Interior Hockey League this weekend.

This weekend, the Stamps head into game two and, if necessary, game three in Smithers.

Go, Stamps, go.
