During the 'More Seaside Fun' annual Girl Guide camp, 36 Girl Guides and five leaders from across the province got a chance to try voyager canoeing on August 1.

Thanks to the Gibsons Paddle Club and the S-Yewens lhem Sila Canoe Family, girls from as far away as Prince George spent the day at Porpoise Bay Provincial Park paddling around Poise Island.

Williams Lake Girl Guide leader, Laura Allgrove, attended the camp located on the Sunshine Coast.
