They will take on any event—retirement parties, anniversaries, an over-the-hill party, a wedding or birthday, reunions, bridal showers, baby showers, celebrations of life, workshops and conferences—and make it exactly what you want it to be.

‘Intyre Events’ is made up of mother-daughter team Linda MacInnis and Colleen McIntyre. Linda holds her Business Management certificate and both Linda and Colleen have their Special Event Management certificates. They have a combined experience of over thirty years in administrative, managerial and event planning services.

From the idea stage to clean up, they take the stress, the worry and the aggravation off your plate and helping you make great memories for a lifetime.

Intyre Events knows the latest trends, colours and ‘green’ directions---they see the big picture and attend to the smallest detail. “Whether you want completely biodegradable dishes and flatware for your event or need to protect your high heels at a backyard BBQ ceremony, we will take care of every detail for you,” Colleen said.

They’ll do a destination wedding—in places like Mexico or the Dominican Republic. They will organize it for you from start to finish. “All you need to do is pack your suitcase and grab your camera,” she said. “We have contacts, resources and networks around the world to give you great options and prices.

“We are very creative, and we understand that every bride wants a huge wedding on a little budget.”

One recent addition to Intyre Events is ‘Party Packs,’ where you can book a party with everything included. They can either book the venue for you or do it in your home—whatever works best for you. “You can buy one of our stock kits that have the basics or you can add to it with a wide selection of products to rent or buy and all themed to your special occasion,” they said.

“You can either provide the food yourself or we can cater it for you.

“We come in and set up the whole party for you and then come back and clean it all up at the end. The packs are very affordable and well-themed—things like pirates, the ‘Bachelorette’ and western themes,” Linda explained.  She said that the Party Packs are geared to eco-friendly cutlery and dishes made from bamboo and corn starch—for people looking for a ‘green’ option.  “We do everything, from sending out invitations to complete clean-up,” she continued.

They said that they have found that people are really busy, and appreciate having someone else take care of all the details--come in and set it up, clean it up and make sure that everyone walks away with a memento from the event.

“Our goal is to save you time and make sure that you enjoy the ‘Intyre’ event. We can do a small party and can also do a big event complete with backdrops and décor,” they said.  “We make sure that everything works as perfectly as possible—works for your budget and your taste and your lifestyle.”
