Potato Dreams: a true collective
| Human interest |
What was once an empty house is quickly becoming a place for those interested in sustainability and history, as the Potato House Project nears its first full year of operation.
Director Mary Forbes says the house has deep community roots. Tours through the historic building aren’t all the Potato House Project is working on. Debra McNie, a Williams lake resident and former dancer and choreographer, says the house itself inspired her to create a new collective production.
'Potato Dreams' would be a true collective; community members are urged to submit 'dreams' they’ve penned themselves for McNie to weave into the story.
