Three men released after alleged home invasion

Just before 11:00pm on September 24, the Williams Lake RCMP were called to a residence in the 700 block of 11 Avenue, to an alleged home invasion that had just occurred.
Williams Lake RCMP immediately responded to the complaint and were able to quickly identify the persons responsible. The three suspects were located in their vehicle shortly after the incident took place and were arrested without incident.
Nothing was taken from the home during the intrusion. There were some minor injuries reported. The residents were familiar with the three suspects, and all were known to police. Sergeant LeBeuf advised that this was not a random act, and the public has nothing to fear as a result of this home invasion.
Christopher Cousineau, Dustin Renney, and Stuart McLellan are all facing charges in relation to this event, including Unlawfully in a Dwelling House and Assault. Cousineau and Renney are facing further charges relating to the incident.
The accused were released on Monday afternoon. for a later appearance.
